After  Receiving Your Residence Permit

After receiving your residence permit, you can live in Portugal for the duration of your studies and work part-time if permitted. You are free to travel within the Schengen Area and access healthcare, education, and everyday services. After graduation, you may apply to stay in Portugal for work or further studies. Over time, you can continue your legal stay and become eligible for permanent residency or Portuguese citizenship.
